Our Vision
To act as a battering ram for the establishment of an efficient, autonomous, effective, and equitable tax system in Pakistan capable of fostering sustainable economic growth, mitigating climatic degradation, and improving quality of life for all citizens through the promotion of just and harmonized tax policies across all tiers of government that are aligned with regional and international best practices and standards and are in sync with socio-economic imperatives of the Global South.
Our Mission
PTF serves as a platform for fostering independent research on various issues of taxation system of Pakistan for the public good in order to introduce tax reforms through collective to influence to future policy processes, co-ordination with federal and provincial revenue authorities, holding seminars, conferences, training sessions on taxation laws, discussions, and disseminating innovative proposals to generate sufficient revenues to meet the country’s expenditure needs.
